What is the digital Comfort Check-in?
With the digital Comfort Check-in, you can conveniently check in to your veterinary practice contactless. Simply scan the petsXL QR code in the entrance area of the practice with your smartphone. This works both with and without a petsXL account. Your veterinary practice will then receive a notification that you are there.
In the time until you are called, you can simply wait in the car or take a short walk. The call that it's your turn with your pet will also be sent by push message, email or text message.
How exactly does Comfort Check-in work?
You can easily check in digitally with or without a petsXL account:
It's most convenient for you with a petsXL account: Simply switch on your mobile phone camera, scan the QR code and check in.
Scan the QR code in the entrance area of the practice.
- Select Log in and check in in petsXL.
- If necessary, log in first and then select which animals you would like to present to your veterinary practice today and confirm with Continue. If necessary, you can add new animals directly.
- Select, if necessary, insurance policies for your animals if you would like to send them to your veterinary practice.
- Select Continue.
- Check the displayed data about you and your animals and, if necessary, edit it using the pencil icon
. Required fields are marked.
- Confirm with Continue.
- Enter Additional information if needed.
- Finally, select Check-in.
The New Comfort Check-in will now appear in your petsXL Timeline. When the practice has processed your data, you will receive a message in petsXL. As soon as it is your turn, you will be called digitally via petsXL.
After the Comfort Check-in, you can send a connection request directly to the veterinary practice.
If you don't have a petsXL account yet, you can also check in contactlessly at your veterinary practice with just a few clicks.
Scan the QR code in the entrance area of the practice.
Then select Continue as a guest.
- Select how many animals you would like to present to your veterinary practice today and confirm with Continue. You can check in up to three animals.
- Enter your personal details and select Continue. Mandatory fields are highlighted.
- Enter your address. You can choose between private person or company. Once you have completed the mandatory fields, select Continue.
- Then enter the data for your animals. You can choose between animal or stock. Once you have completed the mandatory fields, select Continue.
- Enter your e-mail address and decide whether you want to create a petsXL account and check in or just check in.
- Agree to the transfer of your data and select Check in.
Your data will be sent to your practice. If you have not created a petsXL account, you will not receive any further confirmation for the Comfort Check-in. If your veterinary practice uses SMS, you can be called via SMS.
Where can I find the QR code for the Comfort Check-in?
You will find the QR code in the entrance area of the veterinary practice - either directly on the door, at reception or in the waiting area. If you can't find it straight away, ask the veterinary practice directly where they have placed the QR code.
Do I need an appointment for the Comfort Check-in?
No, you do not need to have made an appointment beforehand to be able to carry out the digital Comfort Check-in. However, if your veterinary practice offers appointment-only consultations, don't forget to book an appointment in advance via petsXL.
Can I carry out the Comfort Check-in in petsXL in advance?
No, you can only check in on site at the respective practice, as this is the only place where you will find the required QR code.
