Where can I find all the tasks for my animals in petsXL?

In the menu under Tasks you will find all the tasks for your pets, grouped by Today, Upcoming and History. You will also be shown the number of tasks due today.

What types of tasks can I get in petsXL?

The following types of tasks are possible:

Task for home
These tasks are created from the plans for home that your veterinary practice sends you. These are tasks that you complete yourself at home.

Medication administration
You create the reminder for these tasks yourself from a product message that your veterinary practice sends you.

Treatment
These tasks are created from your pet's treatment plans sent to you by your veterinary practice. These are treatments that take place at the veterinary practice and for which you should make an appointment in good time. Only the veterinary practice can carry out the treatment itself.

Vaccination
These tasks are based on your pet's vaccination schedule, which will be sent to you by your veterinary practice. You should arrange a vaccination appointment for upcoming vaccinations in good time. Only the veterinary practice can carry out the vaccination itself.

You can use the filter symbol to filter by animal, vet, type and medication.

If you want to view your tasks separately for each animal, you can find them in the animal's Health passport at the checklist symbol or the syringe symbol .

An email and/or push notification can be sent for each task. You can choose how you want to be reminded in the menu under Account.

How do I complete tasks for home in petsXL?

Select in the menu > Tasks.
Select under the upcoming task > Confirm task.
Edit the Date and Time if necessary.
Confirm with Done.

The task is marked in green.

If you want to skip a task, simply select Not done instead of Done. This way, you can also correct tasks that have been completed by mistake. You can recognise uncompleted tasks by the red colour.

How do I edit the time of the tasks for home?

Select in the menu > Tasks.
Select the desired task for home to see the details.
Select the pen symbol next to Recommended time.
Select the desired time.
Confirm with Save.

You will now also see the time you selected in the task details.

If you want to change the time of all tasks in a home plan at the same time, go to the checklist symbol in the pet's Health passport and select Change time(s) in the open plan.

How do I edit the time for reminders for tasks for home?

Select > Animals from the menu.
Select your desired animal.
Go to the heart symbol Animals and select your pet.
Select in the Health passport the checklist symbol to open the Health plans.
Select a plan for home to see the details.
Select Change all reminders.
For each reminder, enter the number of Minute(s), Hour(s), Day(s), Week(s), Month(s) or Year(s) you want petsXL to remind you in davance or afterwards.
Add more reminders by the plus symbol if required.
Confirm with Save.

How do I edit the time for reminders for treatments?

Select > Animals from the menu.
Select your desired animal.
Select in the Health passport the checklist symbol to open the Health plans.
Select treatment plan to see the details.
Select Change all reminders.
For each reminder, enter the number of Minute(s), Hour(s), Day(s), Week(s), Month(s) or Year(s) you want petsXL to remind you in davance or afterwards.
Add more reminders by the plus symbol if required.
Confirm with Save.

When changing reminders for treatments, remember that the veterinary practice has carefully set the reminder time. This will ensure that you book an appointment at the practice in good time so that your pet's treatments can be carried out on time.

How can I hide health plans?

This is how you can hide health plans:

Select > Animals from the menu.
Select your desired animal.
Select in the Health passport the checklist symbol to open the Health plans.
Select a treatment plan or a plan for home to see the details
Select Hide and close the window.

All future tasks for this health plan will now be hidden. You will also no longer be reminded of upcoming tasks.

If you have made an appointment for a treatment, it will remain. However, any associated task will be hidden.

If your veterinary practice cancels or deletes a health plan, you will receive a Timeline entry. You can then hide the plan directly.

Under the checklist symbol , you can make your hidden health plans visible again at any time via the filter symbol .

Can I create reminders for tasks myself?

No, reminders can currently only be created when your veterinary practice sends you vaccination or health schedules to petsXL.
