How do I enter my animal's blood group in petsXL?

You can enter the Blood group in the Health record:

1. Go to the heart symbol Animals and select your animal.
2. Select the cross symbol to open the Health data.
3. Select then the pen symbol .
4. Select the appropriate Blood group or enter your own data.
5. Confirm with Save.

How do I enter my animal's allergies or intolerances?

You can enter allergies and/or intolerances in the Health record:

1. Go to the heart symbol Animals and select your animal.
2. Select the cross symbol to open the Health data.
3. Select then the pen symbol .
4. Go to Allergies/intolerances and select Add.
5. Select an entry below Allergies/intolerances or enter your own data.
6. Add Notes if necessary, for example what symptoms your animal had.
7. Confirm with Apply.
8. Select then Save.

How do I enter my animal's previous illnesses in petsXL?

You can enter previous illnesses in the Health record:

1. Go to the heart symbol Animals and select your animal.
2. Select the cross symbol to open the Health data.
3. Select then the pen symbol .
4. Go to Previous illnesses and select Add.
5. Select an entry below Previous illnesses or enter your own data.
6. Add Notes if required.
7. Confirm with Apply.
8. Select then Save.

Where do I enter my animal's long-term medications in petsXL?

You can enter medication that your animal receives on a permanent basis (e.g. heart medication or medication for epilepsy) in the Health record:

1. Go to the heart symbol Animals and select your animal.
2. Select the cross symbol to open the Health data.
3. Select then the pen symbol .
4. Go to Medication and select Add.
5. Select an entry below Medication. Medications that have already been sent to petsXL will be suggested directly. Alternatively, you can enter your own information.
6. Add Notes if required.
7. Confirm with Apply.
8. Select then Save.

All medications sent to petsXL are displayed below the tablet symbol . There, you can also set a reminder for the administration of the medication.

How do I enter my animal's previous surgical procedures in petsXL?

You can enter Surgical procedures in the Health record:

1. Go to the heart symbol Animals and select your animal.
2. Select the cross symbol to open the Health data.
3. Select then the pen symbol .
4. Go to Surgical procedures and select Add.
5. Select an entry below Surgical procedure or enter your own data.
6. Enter the Date of the surgery.
7. Add Notes if required.
8. Confirm with Apply.
9. Select then Save.

How do I enter blood transfusions that my animal has received in petsXL?

You can enter Blood transfusions in the Health record:

1. Go to the heart symbol Animals and select your animal.
2. Select the cross symbol to open the Health data.
3. Select then the pen symbol .
4. Go to Blood transfusions and select Add.
5. Select the Donor species of the blood transfusion or enter your own data.
6. Select the Blood group of the donor animal or enter your own data.
7. Enter the Date of the blood transfusion
8. Add Notes if required.
9. Confirm with Apply.
10. Select then Save.

Where can I find all my animal's treatments in petsXL?

You can find all your animal's treatments in the Health record:

1. Go to the heart symbol Animals and select your animal.
2. Select the file symbol to open the Treatment file.

All of your animal's treatments will now be displayed. You can use the down arrow to open individual treatments in detail. If required, you can filter via the controller .

If you are not yet connected to a veterinary practice with the animal, you can make a connection request there directly.

Where can I find all my animal's health plans in petsXL?

You can find all your animal's Health plans in the Health record:

1. Go to the heart symbol Animals and select your animal.
2. Select the notepad symbol to open the Health plans.

You will now see all the Health plans, separated into Active and History. The plans differentiate between a Treatment plan with treatments in the practice and Tasks for home. Based on these plans, you will be reminded of upcoming tasks.

You can Hide individual plans in the open plan if required. To show it again, have it displayed via the controller . You can then open the hidden plan and show it again.

If you are not yet connected to a veterinary practice with the animal, you can make a connection request there directly.

Where can I find all my animal's vaccinations in petsXL?

You can find all your animal's vaccinations in the Health record:

1. Go to the heart symbol Animals and select your animal.
2. Select the syringe symbol to open the Vaccination schedule.

All vaccinations will now be displayed, separated into To do and History. If vaccinations are due soon, you have the option of making an appointment.

If you are not yet connected to a veterinary practice with the animal, you can make a connection request there directly.

How do I edit the reminders for vaccination appointments?

1. Go to the heart symbol Animals and select your animal.
2. Select the syringe symbol to open the Vaccination schedule.
3. Select Change all reminders.
4. For each reminder, enter the number of Minute(s), Hour(s), Day(s), Week(s), Month(s) or Year(s) you want petsXL to remind you in davance or afterwards.
5. Add more reminders by the plus if required. 
6. Confirm with Save.

When changing reminders for vaccinations, remember that the veterinary practice has carefully set the reminder time. This will ensure that you book an appointment at the practice in good time so that your animal's vaccinations can be carried out on time.

1. Go to the heart symbol Animals and select your animal.
2. Select the tablet symbol to open the Medications.

Now you see all Medications of your animal. If necessary, filter by Type, Medication and Vet at the controller .

Where can I enter my animal's current weight in petsXL?

You can enter the current weight in the Health record:

1. Go to the heart symbol Animals and select your animal.
2. Select the scales symbol to open the Weight data with the weight curve.
3. Via Add weight data you can enter a Weight with the corresponding Date and Time.
4. Confirm with Save.

Where can I find all of my animal’s nutrition plans in petsXL?

You can find all of your animal’s nutrition plans in the Health record:

1. In the menu, select > Animals.
2. Select the animal you want.
3. Select the bowl icon , to open the Nutrition Plan.

You will now see all of your animal’s nutrition plans. If needed, use the filter icon to filter by Type, Food and Vet.

If you haven’t connected this animal to a veterinary practice yet, you can submit a connection request right there.
